I recently visited the Grand Trunk Furniture Shop and was absolutely blown away by the quality and variety of antique furniture they offer. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a warm and knowledgeable staff who were eager to help me find the perfect pieces for my home.
The shop is beautifully curated, with a stunning collection of antiques that range from classic Victorian to mid-century modern. Each piece tells its own unique story, and it’s clear that the owners have a deep appreciation and respect for the craftsmanship of the past.
I purchased a gorgeous oak dining table and a pair of intricately carved chairs, and I couldn’t be happier with my choices. I had given up on the idea of getting some antique pieces for my house after seeing the prices in some of the stores I explored in mumbai before Grand Trunk. This place made my dreams come up. The place has some genuinely antique furniture from all over the country, carrying the intricate works from the south to the grandeur of Marwar and more. It’s like you’re transported to a different era. Additionally, the store upcycles a lot of antique items to make new things - for example they used a small, intricately carved door to make a dining table - which simply looks fabulous. They’ve used cycle pedals to make foot rest for bar stools. You can very clearly see that there is an elect or quirk and creativity, which is honestly so hard to find. If you still do not find what you need… they custom make furniture’s for you as well. The owner Kadir is extremely patient and very helpful. They have an even bigger workshop in Nerul which is simply mind blowing to say the least. I had a hard time choosing all of the things I wanted… because honestly I want them all!!! 😃
