I am writing this review to warn potential customers about my horrific experience with Star Health Insurance and their agent, Saurabh Tripathi. My family has been cheated, and we are left with no insurance and a rejected claim after paying our premium in good faith.
This company and its agent have proven to be completely untrustworthy and unsupportive.
My detailed complaint involves three major issues:
Premium Taken, No Policy Issued: We paid the full premium amount as requested by our agent, Saurabh Tripathi. However, we never received our policy documents. Despite our money being taken, it appears we were never actually insured, which is a clear case of fraud.
Fraudulent Agent - Saurabh Tripathi: The agent, Saurabh Tripathi, was our only point of contact. He was helpful until the premium was paid. After that, he became 0% supportive. He has refused to help us, will not answer our calls, and has given no solution for our missing policy or our rejected claim. He has abandoned his responsibility as an agent, and his actions feel fraudulent.
Unethical Claim Rejection: When we had to file a claim for a genuine medical emergency, Star Health Insurance declined it by giving a different name for the same disease. This is a dishonest tactic to avoid paying for a legitimate claim. They are twisting medical terms to fit their rejection criteria, which is unethical and predatory.
Summary:
Star Health Insurance and their agent, Saurabh Tripathi, took our money, failed to provide the insurance we paid for, and then unethically rejected our genuine claim. We are now facing huge medical bills and immense mental stress. This company's practices are a scam.
I advise everyone to stay away from Star Health Insurance and especially from fraudulent agents like Saurabh Tripathi..
