To the SAPCO Team,
I am writing to provide feedback on a recent interaction I had with your team. As a developing business in Hyderabad, I was enthusiastic about contacting you for my packaging needs after discovering your work on a chocolate bar.
My call with one of your representatives today, however, was a discouraging experience. I was trying to convey that we had previously worked with other packaging companies here in Hyderabad and were disappointed by poor print quality, which was a big setback for us. We were specifically searching for a good company to avoid that issue again, which is why I called you. If the representative had given me just one minute to explain, he would have understood the context of my call. Instead, he kept talking over me. When I finally said, "you're not listening to what I am saying," his immediate response was, "I'm not listening, okay, bye," and he disconnected the call.
This was surprising, and it led me to reflect on your company's impressive journey. I imagine that your founder, Mr. Narayan Prasad Bhotica, might have dealt with similar people and situations during SAPCO's initial days. It took more than two decades, from 1970 to 1996, for the company to grow and reach its next major stage. Though you are a large company today, you also began where we are right now, as a small enterprise trying to find its footing. It is with this understanding of shared entrepreneurial struggles that I found my experience so disheartening.
My experience prompted me to visit your website, where I found statements that I genuinely admire. For instance, your site says, "We believe that we have to not only learn from our customers but also proactively improve ourselves to serve them better." Furthermore, your FAQ section addresses smaller orders by stating, "we have a minimum order quantity of 5000 pieces. However if you require more tailor made solutions feel free to reach out to us."
These promises of customer focus and tailored solutions are precisely what encouraged me to call. Unfortunately, my personal experience did not align with these values.
I am sharing this feedback in the constructive spirit your company seems to welcome. Aligning your team's communication with the resilient, down-to-earth, and customer-focused journey your company was built on could be beneficial.
