S K Maid Service - 24/7 house maid, Cook, Babysitter, Nanny, Patient care, Japa maid agency, Baby care services in Mumbai

I had hired SK maid service for my 1 month old baby. Newborns usually don't have routines hence the need for a Jaapa. Paying 35-40k as salary and 10k as agency commission

1. First maid left in a month with a complaint that she was not getting sleep. The complaint was to the agency and nothing was coveyed to me by her. She used to sleep 3-4 hrs minimum at a stretch when we took care of the baby. This is apart from the time baby was asleep. She wasn't a jaapa.

2. Second one came with new challenges
Used steroid creams on face .and has to be ato stopped to not cause my baby any harm.
she hung their undergarments on my baby's clothes stand. Have to be told not to. Then she started hanging them above my baby's clothes. She didn't know mom's massage despite being a jaapa.

3. They don't know what to do when baby has nose congestion. Why are they not trained for this? Or have no experience?

4. They are so sleepy at night that while making formula they use my drinking water to make formula instead of baby's warm water by mistake. Thankfully I notice and stop them.

3. Apart from walking with the baby post feed , washing baby clothes, and putting bottles in sterliser, they don't specialise in any baby chores. Or are of no help incase of emergency. Have to be taught everything.second one didn't even know swaddling. She had not taken care of a new born. Only 3-4 month onwards.

4. We shouldn't have to pay 34-40k for teaching them basics

5. Agency doesn't even check their past references for quality checks.

7. They are basic nannys/baby sitters and not Japaas specialised for newborns

8. Second maid used to sleep while managing baby at night. This is despite been given time to sleep in the day and early morning. Always busy playing games on phone while baby is on lap.

9. I saw the maid dozing off at 12 am while she has to burp the baby. Had tonbe scolded. Felt so hurt that she decide dto leave next day 7 am leaving us hanging dry. Agency has not contacted me with a replacement because they think we are the problem
