I booked packers and movers from Mumbai to Chennai, but the service was very disappointing. The dewan was dismantled in Mumbai, and when I asked if it would be reassembled in Chennai, I was assured—both by the team and customer care—that it would be taken care of. However, upon arrival in Chennai, they attempted to assemble it but failed and then told us it was not their responsibility and asked us to arrange a carpenter.
It is concerning that unskilled personnel were sent for such work. Additionally, when they reached the delivery location, they communicated clearly in Tamil to confirm the address. But when issues arose, they claimed they did not understand Tamil at all, which was quite unbelievable.
Their behavior was also very unprofessional. They spoke rudely to my family members and even asked our child to help carry and place the packages. Furthermore, my wooden table was damaged due to their rough handling of items.
When I contacted customer care, I did not receive any meaningful support. Overall, it was a very poor and frustrating experience. Additionally, we are paying to Porter but they are sending sunrise sub contractor and doing the service. So these people doesn’t know anything and very unprofessional way packing and dealing the things.
Good, on time service with quick packing and unpacking support.
Recently booked a packers and movers from Porter and got really impressed with their hard work and commitment.Team Ayub did a fantastic job with zero damage. Definitely deserves five star rating.
