My family of 3 had an appointment at 11 am, this morning. Absolutely flawless work done by the staff, right from the time they let you into the concourse.
Kajal Rathod attended to me, she was soft and polite. 2 other male government officers also greeted the applicants well.
All my questions were met with warm responses. Moreover, the availability of so many counters, made it a seamless process.We were out, in less than an hour. Good job, TCS.
Our experience at the MIDC Passport Office was mixed. The security lady outside was very rude, uncooperative, and not helpful at all. Since only the applicant was allowed inside, we dropped our child and asked her how much time the process would take. She rudely told us to come back after 2 hours, so we went home thinking it would take long.
However, inside the process was very smooth, the staff was helpful, and the entire passport procedure was completed within 20 minutes. Requesting the passport authorities to appoint kinder and more helpful people at the security desk, as they are the first point of interaction for visitors.
On 7th May'26, I visited PSK Andheri early @ 2.10 pm. though the appointment time was 3.00. And the entire process was completed by 2.36pm.
I was asked to submit original + photocopies of passport & Aadhar card, a copy of online Passport application and a copy of appointment receipt. Hard copies of photo aren't required as they click on the spot.
The entire process was seamless and very professionally managed. Moving from counter A to B to C was like a breeze. The staff at all counters were professional, efficient and very helpful. In flat 20 minutes, the work was completed and I was out.
To my utmost surprise, I got the delivery of my new passport on the 3rd day, today, 9th May (though regular, and not Tatkal).
I am very impressed by the entire process and wish to congratulate our Indian Govt for this express service.

Well appointed and spacious place. TCS staff complete verifying, scanning and photographing very efficiently. However there is delay in second and third stage wherein passport office staff verify, grant the cases. They should deploy more staff as there,seems to be bottleneck at these stages and this causes lot of delay due to heavy rush of people and work load.
Visited the Passport Seva Kendra at Andheri East, Mumbai today for my passport renewal, and overall it was a smooth experience.
My appointment was at 10:30AM. I reached at 9:45 AM and was completely done by 10:45 AM — very efficient!
The entire process at Passport Seva Kendra Andheri East was well managed:
• Counter A – Photograph & biometrics (quick and smooth)• Counter B – Document verification (fastest process)• Counter C – Final approval and stamping (also very quick)
Movement between counters A, B, and C was seamless. Staff at most counters were professional and efficient. The security guard was polite and helpful.
The only downside was the lady issuing tokens at Counter 2 (wearing glasses). She was quite rude and could definitely improve her communication. Maybe she was overworked, but basic courtesy goes a long way.
Another suggestion: the toilets need better maintenance. Having a dedicated cleaner stationed there would improve hygiene standards significantly.
For anyone going for renewal without any changes, it’s not complicated at all. I carried:
Voter ID
PAN Card
Aadhaar (A4 printed version with verified signature, not just the smart card)
Original passport + photocopies of first and last two pages
All self attested..
They only asked me for the Voter ID & my passport during the process. No one asked for DigiLocker or any digital documents.
Overall, apart from one staff interaction and the restroom cleanliness, it was a very good and efficient experience.
