I wish I could give NEGATIVE rating — Niva Bupa Andheri branch doesn’t even deserve 1 star.
Pathetic, unprofessional and absolutely shameless service by Niva Bupa Andheri Branch.
This is honestly the worst experience of my life with any company. I am an advisor under Ms. Ruchi Singh, and since the FIRST WEEK OF OCTOBER, I have been begging them to terminate my advisor code. Today is 12th December — 3 MONTHS — and these people still can’t solve ONE simple request.
What kind of useless system is this?
ICICI Prudential solved the same request for me in 2 days, but Niva Bupa is acting like they are doing me a favour by even picking up the phone.
Ms. Ruchi doesn’t bother to follow up properly, and her manager Mr. Sachin is the MOST irresponsible person I’ve ever dealt with. He never picks up calls, never helps, and only says “talk to Ruchi”. Then what exactly is his job?? Why keep a manager who runs away from responsibility?
And the branch situation is even worse. The security guard talks like he owns the company, behaves rudely, and doesn’t even allow advisors inside. Every time I go there, the answer is:
“Manager is not in the branch.”
Conveniently missing every single time — amazing.
Niva Bupa’s Andheri branch is the definition of careless, lazy, and unprofessional. The company clearly does NOT care about advisors or their time.
3 months for one termination request is beyond ridiculous.

Your phone service is worst. I can't speak to a representative. Email sent to renewal support but no response. I paid premium for 100% claim option but somehow they did a mistake and made it 20%copayment option.
I need to know that can I make it 100% claim option at the time of renewal?

This waste company it is. We have ported our insurance for senior citizens, persons who have never been admitted to the hospital. One sudden day, a doctor recommended surgery for a problem that was only two years old, but our policy is four years old. One year before, we ported to the worst company. They took three months for the reimbursement process, and after that, they rejected it.
Uncivilized people working..no courtesy and extremely disrespectful. I am disgusted being a niva bupa customer after calling up this call center . No resolution or manners ...Would never recommend Niva Bupa to anyone. Because it's the after sales customer service which is most important. For a minute i thought my call was connected to some spammer .
One of the worst worst worst biggest scams I’ve ever come across. Firstly, they knew I was an NRI so had asked them for international coverage. They happily added a premium. And then when I was in an emergency abroad they said that they don’t cover international coverage for NRIs….. just a scam.
Moreover, when I claim insurance for legitimate procedures done covered they ignore emails and texts and say ‘approval hasn’t come’ it’s been over 4 months now of a basic claim maybe 3% of the amount I paid towards my health insurance and they still aren’t giving it to me. They are just liars and cheats, I feel like a moron for even signing up and giving them hard earned money.
Just the worst. Preying on the injured……
