National Insurance

I took the motor insurance policy from NIC for my bike. Met with an accident after the purchase while the RC transfer was in process.
Intimated the insurance company and they didn't even reverted for the same for almost two months.

Finally after many escalations they appointed a surveyor. As you all know surveyors are always a third party entity whose responsibility is to some how find loop holes as per the instruction by the insurance company. This tactic is easy to throw the to and fro to put the end customer in trouble.

What to say. They denied the claim of around 32,000 rupees approx stating that when the accident took place the vehicle RC transfer was in process.

I strongly recommend all the individuals NOT to purchase any motor policy from National Insurance Company. They should have guided the customer about the RC transfer period. They just took the money and issued the policy. This is an upfront planning to make money like this.

Its a office of National Insurance company, located in same building of Sterling cinema. It has small entrance located just right to theater's entrance. All claim processing is done here.
