We have been using Mindray company’s anesthesia workstation for the past four years. The machine broke down on September 21, and on September 22, a service engineer visited and informed us that the motherboard was damaged. It was quite disappointing that the motherboard failed in such a short period of time.
In our other OT, we have a Medisys anesthesia machine that has been running for 12 long years without any motherboard issues.
Still, we accepted the situation and requested a quotation for the repair on September 22. We received the quotation on September 30 after a full week. Approved it and made the payment on October 2. Since then we have been following up with company continuously through local executive.
We were initially informed that the part was being dispatched from Mumbai, and we felt it shouldn’t take more than a day to reach Sangli. Hence after a week we decided to send our staff to Mumbai to collect it. However, when we asked for the address, we were told that the part was actually coming from Delhi and it had not yet arrived.
Our local company representative in Sangli, is not providing any clear feedback either. Now we are told that the part will come from Gurgaon.
From September 21 to October 6, we have been working without an anesthesia workstation.
Since spine surgeries are our hospital’s flagship specialty, being without the machine for 15 days, has caused us significant financial loss — something the company should seriously consider.
The service experience has been extremely poor.
Also, we had already informed the company that we require 16 monitors and 2 new anesthesia workstations for our new hospital. Despite this, no one from Mindray has contacted us or shown any interest.
If this reflects the company’s complacency or lack of interest in new business, then I am writing this review to warn other doctors who are planning to purchase Mindray machines to be cautious.
The webinar was highly informative and offered practical insights into the latest advancements in medical technology. I appreciated the clear explanations on enhancing diagnostic accuracy and operational efficiency. Overall, it was a valuable learning experience.
