We liked the banquet..
But there was monopoly for food with Delhi Darbar...
When we visited the delhi darbar branch at Sandhurst road branch the manager over there didn't seem to be interested to speak to us...
One thing was he said - "aa jate hai uthke ramadan mein"
The other - "apke bohot kum log hai"
Let me tell you, we pay for each and every plate,it doesn't matter if it's 70 or 7000 people, you people charge for every plate...
Try to learn customer service..
Surely not recommended until this monopoly is there...
I visited Jaffer Bhai’s Delhi Darbar Catering Service (Dongri/Sandhurst Road branch) with my mother on the first day of Ramadan to book their services, as they hold a monopoly at Medallion Hall. We have a Haldi function on the third day of Eid, so we were already short on time and had no other options due to this monopoly system.
As soon as we arrived, the manager made a rude comment to his colleagues saying, “Agae Ramadan me uth kar,” which was completely unprofessional and disrespectful. We chose to ignore it and continued politely, asking for the food prices since we genuinely liked the Medallion Hall banquet for our small function.
When I requested a pen and paper to note down the prices, he again reacted rudely. While stepping out, he commented sarcastically, “Ab pen aur paper chahiye.” This kind of behavior toward customers is unacceptable. We were not asking for free food! we were there to book and pay for your “unprofessional” service.
If you do not have the time or basic courtesy to attend to customers properly, then perhaps reconsider holding monopolies in banquet halls just to increase business. Customers deserve respect.
Because of this experience, we decided not to opt for Medallion Hall (Charni Road), even though we genuinely liked the venue. There are far better and more respectful options available in the market such as Shalimar Restaurant and Persian Darbar etc.
From today onwards, my entire family and I have decided to boycott Delhi Darbar Caterers and their restaurants.
Extremely disappointed. 0 stars.
Great hospitality and great service good rest room also in other halls others don't even bother about the washroom this one is great nice entrance good prices alsoenjoyed there good space also 🤩🤩😃😃😃
I just loved my experience with medallion banquets. Great hospitality, helpful staff, stunning ambience and amazing vibes. It's at the prime location and so convenient to reach. We celebrated our princess birthday here and were so happy with how it turned. Well done team medallion👏
