However , I would probably be more happy to have a better website and app. Their app and websites definitely need an upgrade to be more real time , modern and user friendly
I have been associated with Fintoo for close to 2.5 Years now. My experience has been no less than satisfying. They have patiently understood my goals and expectations. They not only bring in calmness to your thoughts on your personal finance. They actually treat it as their personal agenda too to ensure that we reach our goals. While the App and tech is still a long way shout. The analyst and RMs are way more equipped to ensure they answer and customized info for you. Special shout out to Niti, Ashish Lalwani and Mihir Shah.
I have been a client with Fintoo for about 1.5 years, and overall, my experience has been very positive.
The primary strength of Fintoo is the comprehensive service and the quality of their advice. They cover the full spectrum—from detailed tax planning and comprehensive financial goal setting, all the way through to direct stock insights and recommendations. I especially appreciate that the wealth managers (I've worked with a few, and the transitions have been smooth) always take the time to explain the rationale behind their stock and fund selections. This transparency is crucial. A special mention goes to Ashish, whose deep understanding of the stock market and quick response time on queries have been exceptional. Furthermore, Akshay's expertise in tax planning has been invaluable.
However, the reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 relates to product pushiness. There have been several occasions where I felt some pushiness to allocate funds toward specific, higher-commission products. These often appeared to be dodgy investment options with aggregated returns that I projected would be less than 5% overall across a two-year holding period, significantly underperforming benchmark alternatives.
While I am fine with a very small, strategic allocation, the team was sometimes insistent on pushing a much larger percentage toward these options. I believe the core advisory service is truly top-tier, but Fintoo needs to ensure their product recommendations prioritize the client's fiduciary needs over else.
I’m really happy with the services provided by my wealth manager, Aquil Shamim. The investment recommendations he has given have provided me with good value in my portfolio, with the best asset allocation suited to my risk appetite. I feel he understands my risk appetite and financial goals very well. I truly believe in his knowledge of investment products and wish him all the best for his career growth.
I’m also thankful to Kosar Tidiwala for always keeping in touch with me from the time I am with the company and first confirming with me on all the investment recommendations I receive. That extra effort gives me a lot of confidence and comfort.
Lastly, I want to thank Fintoo for always being there to support my investments and for having such good investment advisors on the team. I’ve been associated with Fintoo for a long time now and really appreciate the client connection and personal touch they bring to their services.
