Very disappointing experience with Dr. Fixit waterproofing solution.
I have been trying to co-ordinate with them to get waterproofing work done for over 6 months in my flat in Versova, but the staff has been completely unresponsive. Despite repeated follow-ups, there has been no accountability or timely solution.
Initially a quotation was shared and approved from my end. However, after approval, the quote was suddenly increased by nearly 50% and they are now refusing to proceed with the work.This is highly unprofessional and misleading.
Customers are really being taken for granted. There is no respect for timelines, commitment, or even basic service standards or courtesy to reply to calls and messages.
The SPOC I was painfully dealing with: Mr. Abhijit Uttam (XXXXX 02426).
Would not recommend Dr. Fixit basis this poor experience.
PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM DR.FIXIT AT ANY COST!!!
Update Jan 23 2023: Dr.Fixit saw my review and inspected the site but still are not changing their stance. They claim that the work they did is perfect although they fixed a problem that never existed and did not do anything about the root cause I went to them for in the first place. STAY AWAY FROM FIXIT, PLEASE! I have lost my money (1.4L) and now have to find a reliable contractor to fix the original problem.

We hired dr.fixit to diagnose and treat seepage issues in our property. It was contracted to Vinayaka water proofing work in bangalore by dr.fixit. the contractor provided a quote to 'fix' the issue for Rs.1.4lakhs back in 2020. We had them do all the work they recommended in October 2020. Since then, every year when rains happen, the exact same seepage issue still exists. We have spent lot of time and money following up on this. Each time, the contractor comes and claims to 'resolve' the issue but the issue continues to persist. We have spent a lot of money painting the walls since they claim issue will not happen again.
This year instead of contacting the contractor, we had filed a complaint with dr.fixit directly since our root cause is still not resolved. The Dr.Fixit representative inspected the unit and told us that the root cause of the issue is something that was not originally fixed and hence they cannot cover it by warranty since that work was never done. We paid lakhs of rupees to fix the root cause and not fix something that never existed in the first place. They did not diagnose the issue correctly and quoted some other work to be done. In the end, i have spent (lost) 1.4lakhs and still have the same seepage issue that i had back in 2020. Fixit said they cannot do anything about this and want us to get this fixed at our own additional cost!!
Since the common man is not technical enough to diagnose water proofing issues, Isn't it fixit's responsibility to root cause the issue and provide the right solution? We are highly disappointed and are helpless now.
I contacted Dr.Fixit waterproofing solutions for my terrace leakage some months backs. My spouse and I had purchased an apartment in Bandra and took possession about ten months back. However, within, a month or two, damp patches were seen on the ceiling. Mainly because we live a floor below the terrace (topmost level). We contacted the building owner, before reaching out to Dr. Fixit, but he didn’t seem that interested. Finally, we reached Dr.Fixit on their toll-free number; that very instant, my call was promptly answered by the Dr.Fixit office in Mumbai.
My issue was raised, and I got in touch with the Dr. Fixit staff, who very nicely, explained every aspect of the product to be used for terrace waterproofing. Within a few days, there was a representative who came by for inspection, and to check out how severe the issue was. On examination, he suggested a few products, which eventually were used. Once the monsoon arrived, the leakage issue didn’t seem to pop-up. I’m glad that my query for catered to, and my problem is no longer an issue. I appreciate the quick reply and good work too!
One of the worst problems I faced after the construction of my new home was leakage in one of the bedrooms. I live in a bungalow at Vasai east, and I failed to waterproof my house during the construction phase. While my contractor was unable to warn me about the consequences of not waterproofing my home, my neighbour asked me to get it done as soon as possible, and not wait any longer. So I got in touch with Dr.Fixit waterproofing professionals as I had heard that their products are widely used, and they suggested that I use Dr.Fixit Roofseal for my terrace and Dr.Fixit Raincoat for external walls.
I was impressed with the service provided by their nearby dealer and I hope that I don’t face any leakage in the future.
My house was facing a terrace seepage situation on the account of water tank overflowing. It was an ongoing issue which was under control for some time but had popped up again. I had heard about waterproofing services by Dr. Fixit being good but wasn’t sure. However, after listening to my contractor, I used the products for my terrace. It’s been over 5 months, and the leakage has stopped, which is a good thing. I hope this issue doesn’t come up again.
