I had been struggling with a very frustrating issue with my Honda Activa for a long time. The scooter would suddenly stop in the middle of the road, the self-start was not working properly, and it would frequently turn off while riding. I visited several mechanics, but they all said it was a carburetor problem and would simply add oil to the carburetor. The issue would seem fixed for a few days, but then it would return.
One day, when my Activa broke down near my office, I came across Ashad Bike Service. I explained the entire problem to Ashad, and he confidently assured me that he would solve it permanently. Honestly, I was skeptical because I had heard the same promise from other mechanics before.
However, after he repaired my Activa, the difference was remarkable. It has now been more than a year, and not once has my scooter stopped unexpectedly or given me the same trouble again. The self-start works perfectly, and the vehicle runs smoothly.
I am truly grateful for his expertise, honesty, and excellent service. Ashad diagnosed and fixed a problem that several other mechanics could not. Had issue with my TVS Apache 200 4v speedometer issue.
All of sudden my speedometer went blank, it doesn't show the speed, tried checking with service center they told me too change the sensor, when I visited ashad bhai garage, he quickly found out issue and resolved it.
I personally recommend him.
I’m writing this review to share a factual experience so others can make an informed decision.
We approached this service centre for an Activa that was not starting (no self start or kick). From day one, the issue remained the same, but each visit resulted in a different diagnosis and additional charges.
Initially, we were told it was a battery issue, then later told the battery was fine and a pipe needed replacement. After paying for that repair, the bike stopped again within 1 km. We were then advised to do a full service, assured that this would fix the problem. We paid again, trusting their expertise.
Within 24 hours, the same issue returned. Only then were we told the battery needed replacement — the same issue mentioned on the very first visit. Till here he had already charged us 2500 rs
Now we go back to him after 10days with the same issue.. this time he told we need to change the battery as that’s the main problem.. but when we questioned the owner he was like no need to change the battery .. u can just charge it …
Despite the bike being kept for over 24 hours multiple times, it was returned without proper testing and even failed to start in front of us. Loose fittings were found again, indicating careless workmanship.
When we questioned this, instead of accountability, the interaction became unprofessional. At one point, the owner stated that if the bike did not fail again, we would have to pay double the amount already paid — despite the issue still not being resolved.
This experience felt less like troubleshooting and more like repeated trial-and-error at the customer’s expense.
I’m sharing this so others are aware and can be cautious.
I recently got my Activa 6G serviced at [Ashad Bike Point ], and overall, it was a wonderful experience.
