While discharged from Lilavati , we got this Ambulance contact , but the service was very poor , first they came late by half an hour and vehicle arrived was very old and trolly was rusted and tilted on one side ,thus very risky to carry patient, they also send only one person with trolley, ambulance suspension was bad ,so patient had continues shocks while travel .And that's not all they charge high price for such poor vehicle and services.
Very disappointing service. I called for an emergency in my neighbourhood, and they kept saying the ambulance would arrive in 5 minutes. However, even after half an hour it didn’t come. It arrived only after continuous follow-ups, but by then it was too late — we had already lost the person. Such delays in a critical situation are unacceptable.
Warning: Do Not Rely on This Ambulance Service in Critical Situations
I’m sharing this with the hope that no one else has to go through what I did.
My wife was in a critical condition, admitted to the ICU at Apex Hospital, Kandivali East. The hospital had a tie-up with ambulance care ambulance service, and unfortunately, both the hospital and the ambulance team proved to be shockingly unprofessional.
Initially, I requested a transfer to a nearby, better-equipped hospital. The ICU team agreed and called the ambulance. However, as my wife's condition worsened, I made the decision to shift her to Kokilaben Hospital in Andheri West—a far more advanced facility. What followed was deeply distressing.
- Misguidance & Fear-Mongering:
Both the ICU doctor and the ambulance doctor, Dr. Dhirendra Dwiwedi, tried to dissuade me from transferring her to Kokilaben, citing distance and time constraints. This was misleading—it was an intra-city transfer, not an inter-city one.
- Deliberate Delay:
After I insisted firmly on taking the risk, the ambulance doctor made me wait an additional 10 minutes just to write a handwritten disclaimer stating they wouldn’t be responsible for any mishaps. In a moment where every second mattered, this delay was inexcusable.
- Unprepared & Unprofessional:
Shockingly, the ambulance didn’t even have enough diesel. We had to stop at a petrol pump mid-transfer while my wife was on ventilator support. This level of negligence is beyond comprehension.
- Unjustified Charges:
The final bill was ₹7,500—despite the earlier agreed amount of ₹4,500 for a transfer to Kandivali West. The extra ₹3,000 for a slightly longer route within Mumbai was never explained transparently. When I raised this with the owner, he argued that the change in destination required refueling. That’s their excuse for wasting precious time during a life-threatening emergency.
This experience was not just disappointing—it was dangerous. In moments where professionalism, preparedness, and urgency are non-negotiable, this team failed on every front.
Please, do not trust this ambulance service in emergencies. Your loved one’s life may depend on it.
Your customer service is great and your drop up and pick up timings are very punctual that is why you have so many friends circle
They are fast to respond and arrive at the given address quickly. This is what matters the most during emergency. The onboard doctor is also knowledgeable
