My experience with Abracadabra is extremely poor. With such a high overall rating, i am not sure if the other reviews for this store are genuine. I had sent my driver to galleria to repair my son's samsung tablet, that had its glass screen cracked. The display was intact and it was only the protective screen that had cracked. My driver went to abracadabra and they charged is 1800/- to replace it. On returning back, the screen showed a significant yellow discoloration. When we took it back to get it fixed, abracadabra refused to take responsibility saying that it came in that condition. This is not true. This is a tablet that is used to show kids videos to my toddler and both me and my wife spend atleast 1-2 hours a day watching it with him and there was no discoloration before. Infact I had it corroborated with some other residents of my raheja community, who had a play date with my son the previous day of the repair. I am a HNI and i dont need to lie for 1800/-.

In my household we have over 10 smart devices and a toddler, so broken screens covers/displays are somewhat of a norm. I usually go to this place outside ifxit in galleria. Almost all cell repair shops in galleria are on a similar front. They usually have a few qualities of "non-original" / "Original quality" duplicate screen covers and displays and are usually over priced. My experience with the repair shop outside ifixit was rather better. It was also overpriced, but atleast they tell you that some discoloration may appear in 2-3 days and if it does, they will take it back and fix it for free. But this was not the case with Abracadabra.

The overpriced nature is not what bothers me as i see it as a convenience premium due to the location of the repair shops in Galleria. However, lack of integrity is a definite no no.

I feel cheated. Even if the damage was as low as a couple of thousand rupees, it leaves a terrible after taste. Therefore, my personal recommendation is to not to go to this store. The shopkeeper needs to demonstrate better ethics in his persona. I want to circulate this in all social media channels, so people are made aware.

I will shortly update this post with pictures of the botched repair.

*Update:
We took the tablet to the other repair shops in galleria(like the one outside ifixit) and, before they knew that abracadabra(as it is a nexus there) was the botched prior repair agency, blamed the shoddy repair job in replacing the glass cover as responsible for the discoloration, and offered to fix it for a fee. We decided to not go ahead and rather invest in a new tablet.

Respect your hard earned money guys and avoid buying anything from this store.. they loot you, give damaged stuff and when you ask for exchange they blame you... I gave the bottle back to them and they dint even bother saying a word.. useless store, useless ppl..
