We use A N Rubber’s metal detectable silicone balls in our vibratory screeners and fluid bed dryers, and they’ve been flawless for GMP compliance.
Why 5 stars:
1. Detection: Easily picked up by metal detectors down to 1.5mm fragments. The blue color gives strong visual contrast in product. Zero risk of foreign object contamination getting past QA.
2. Material: FDA 21 CFR 177.2600 + EU 10/2011 compliant platinum-cured silicone. No taste, odor, or leaching. Handles CIP/SIP at 130°C daily with no hardening.
3. Performance: Excellent rebound and abrasion resistance. We’re at 2+ years on the same set with minimal wear vs 6 months from standard silicone balls.
4. Consistency: Durometer and diameter tolerance is tight ±0.15mm. No sticking or clumping issues. Spheres are perfectly round, so screening efficiency actually improved.
5. Support from A N Rubber: Helped us pick 25mm 60 Shore A for our mesh size. Fast sampling, full material certs + migration test reports provided for audits.

We’ve been using A N Rubber Industries’ fabric reinforced inflatable seals on our autoclave doors and the results are outstanding.
Why we rate them 5/5:
1. Construction: The fabric reinforcement gives excellent burst strength. We’re running at 4.5 bar inflation with zero ballooning or delamination after 18 months of daily cycles.
2. Sealing performance: Perfect airtight seal even on slightly uneven surfaces. No leaks during vacuum + pressure tests. Recovery after deflation is instant.
3. Material quality: Used EPDM with polyester fabric — great heat, steam, and ozone resistance. No cracking at 150°C. Compounds are well-formulated.
4. Customization: A N Rubber nailed our odd profile + corner radii. Tolerances were spot on and spliced joints are stronger than the body.
5. Service: Technical team helped select the right reinforcement and pressure rating. Lead time was 3 weeks for custom tooling, which beat every other quote.
